Sarah is a 10 year old sweetheart from Fayetteville, NC. Back in 2010 she was diagnosed with a Germinoma malignant brain tumor. After three years of no signs of this tumor, she was diagnosed with an Astrocytoma, another type of malignant brain tumor which she currently battles. After all that she has been through, we really thought Sarah could use a “smile.”
Sarah enjoys playing video games so we thought lunch and a trip to Best Buy were in order. We had a wonderful lunch at Chili’s where John and Ian took wonderful care of us. They even surprised Sarah by having all of the servers come out and present her with a hat, shirt and dessert! After that, it was on to Best Buy where Sarah had her own personal shoppers. Sarah picked out a laptop computer, a Wii U, some cool headphones and several games. After getting back home, we surprised Sarah with a 39″ television to put in her room.
We all had a wonderful time with Sarah and her family. A special thank you to Ian, the manager at Chili’s for his generous support. We’d also like to thank Steven, Ryan, Caitlin and Darryl for a wonderful day at Best Buy.
