Adam is an eighteen-year-old young man from Catawba, NC. He is currently treated at Brenner’s Children’s Hospital for ALL Leukemia.
Adam loves to hunt, fish, and be outdoors. His Mom Sarah, knowing Adam had an interest in these things, watched videos and learned how to do these things so she could spend time with her son doing what he loves.
A few of these people Adam and Sarah watched were Michael Waddell (The Bone Collector) and Jim Ronquest. We reached out to both gentlemen to see if they could help us out. Michael was going to be at the Dixie Gun Show in Raleigh, so we arranged for Adam and his Mom to attend.
Michael spent a ton of time with them and even invited Adam to hunt with him! Next up for Adam and his mom was a guided turkey hunt with Jim Ronquest! They spent two days doing what Adam loves most.
They had a wonderful time; Jim would go on to say how rewarding of an experience it was for him. Thank you so much to both gentlemen for making Adam’s “dream hunt” come true.
