Caroline is a 16-year-old girl from South Boston, VA being treated at Duke Children’s Hospital for ALL leukemia. She was diagnosed when she was 8 years old and went through rigorous treatment for over 2 years. Caroline’s leukemia came back 4 years later and is currently in active treatment.
Caroline is a huge Washington Redskins fan and wanted to go to a game. Meg’s Smile Foundation arranged for Caroline and her family to have an all-expenses paid trip for the weekend to the Washington D.C. area. On Sunday of that weekend, Caroline and her family attended the game in style in club-level seating. In addition, they all got to head down to the field for the pre-game warmups. Caroline and her family were on cloud nine!
