Faith is a seventeen-year-old girl from Charlotte. Faith has been battling cystic fibrosis her entire life. Her disease has led to severe lung disease leaving her dependent on oxygen at night and after vigorous activity. She will likely require a lung transplant in the future.

Faith’s passion is dance. She has always wanted to perform in New York City. Meg’s Smile Foundation made it possible for Faith and her Mom to travel to New York City for Faith to perform. Not only did she perform, but her group also won the entire dance competition! They also got to see the sights in NYC – 911 WTC, the Statue of Liberty, and Carlo’s Bakery to name a few. Because of the difficulty with flying medical equipment, they decided to drive which allowed them to see other sites including Luray Caverns and Washington DC.

Faith’s Mom sent us the following note, “I wish to once again thank you so very much for your kindness and generosity! I am very touched by Meg’s story and how you have enabled her smile to live on through the blessings you give others with the Foundation. And we are certainly no exception! Faith and I were both tremendously blessed and had a wonderful trip!”

Thank you for making Faith’s trip a reality!!
